Country Ensuite + Powder Room Transformation
Shelley and Tom wanted their dated main-floor bathroom layout to match the quality of their home and busy wedding venue. The existing main bath, a small 2-piece ensuite, and a large closet were reimagined into a bright, modern primary ensuite paired with a refreshed powder room for guests.
We started by opening up and restructuring the space, coordinating full design, permitting, and inspections so everything behind the walls was done right. The new ensuite features large-format polished porcelain wall tile, a custom tiled shower with marble hexagon floor, and a sleek matte black Moen shower system. A freestanding soaker tub, updated vanity with framed mirror, and carefully selected lighting give the room a boutique–hotel feel while staying practical for everyday use.
New shiplap, upgraded flooring, fresh doors and trim, and a custom Nerval glass shower door complete the transformation. Throughout construction we protected surrounding areas, managed plumbing and electrical upgrades, and handled all finishing details—right down to touch-ups and final clean.
The result is a cohesive, high-functioning ensuite and powder room that feel like they’ve always belonged in the house, giving Shelley and Tom a calm, beautiful retreat that also stands up to the demands of hosting guests year-round.
